Nicolas Mollard is a french guitar player and composer 

Established across sectors in music industry. Songwriter, movie score and feature films soundtrack composer, soundtracks for feature documentaries, contemporary dance and contemporary art.

From 2008 to 2014, after the international success of Asa’s Album Beautiful Imperfection for which he had composed 6 tracks, certified double gold record (local and international) and distributed in 25 countries, Nicolas Mollard went on a world tour for 5 years accompanying Asa, as a guitar player, musical director and arranger. In 2012 he participated to the 27th French Musical Awards (les Victoires de la Musique) with the single Be my man.

He has been recognized in 2015 with The Anarchists original soundtrack. The Film, starring Adele Exarchopoulos and Tahar Rahim, was selected for the opening of La Semaine de la Critique in Festival de Cannes 2015. The orchester Soundtrack has been nominated best music at the UCMF annual price (the Feature-Film Music French Composer Union) at Sacem in 2016.

In 2018, he signed another feature film original soundtrack, L’œil du tigre, directed by Raphael Pfeiffer.

In 2020, several tracks he composed are integrated to TV shows soundtracks through his publisher Universal Publishing. Therefore the song Bobby's Bounce will be part of 911 Lone Star serie soundtrack and also selected and integrated to Stumptown soundtrack. 

Moreover, the next year, music supervisor Thomas Golubić selected the song Miss Jade for the serie Better Call Saul produced by Netflix. 

Recently, in 2020 he composed the Sapphire Crystal’s OST, directed by Virgil Vernier, selected in Locarno Film Festival and prized Grand Prix du festival Côté court  in Pantin 2020, also composed a soundtrack for a first feature movie Les Mues directed by Grégoire Perrier (CNAP, Tënk) and a feature documentary 90’ for Arte, Les Nazis et L’argent directed by Gil Rabier. 

En 2021 he composed a soundtrack for a feature documentary for cinema : Sons of Caïn, directed by Keti Stamo and produced by Anima Pictures, Margo Films, Young Films. selected to the 78th international film festival in Venise – Selection Venice Days, Giornate degli Autori. 

The soundtrack received production selective aid for composing the original soundtrack from the CNC. The OST is distributed by LoveTheme / Believe Digital.

He also composed in 2021 the original soundtrack of the short film directed by Lila Pinell Le Roi David, prix Jean Vigo 2021, Grand Prix du festival de Clermont-Ferrand and nominated à la Selection Officielle Court Métrage de Fiction des Césars 2023.
